Born in the “end of the world” in southern Chile, Alonso built a successful career as a lawyer and former Governor , operating within the structures of power. But after witnessing corruption, injustice, and facing a life-altering health crisis, he made a radical decision: to abandon everything and pursue music as an act of truth and freedom.
Now leading projects such as PEREZDEARCE, his sound blends heavy guitars, modern electronic elements, and dark atmospheric textures— His music explores themes of repression, identity loss, inner struggle, and resistance against systems that dehumanize. Alonso represents a symbolic rejection of imposed identity and a rebirth through art.
